A Crazy Time!!

Well as if I didn’t have enough going on at the moment, my computer decided to crash last week so I’ve been unable to post. I only got it back a few days ago. What started out as a problem with Java ended up being more than a small problem. So much so that Windows had to be reloaded and all of my programs as well. I’m still trying to put some of the programs back on so I’m only up and running at 50% at the moment. Talk about headaches trying to restore everything to the way that it was!

I have some new photos that I’ll have to post at a later date because I’m unable to load them onto my computer until I get the software loaded which is on my to do list. Right! I’ll just add that to my super long list! Picture taking has been great as of late though because we’ve had a lot of summer storms rolling through so the skies have been full of life as of late. It’s also served as a great distraction with everything that’s going on at the moment with my health. So far things are stable on the implant front. My surgeon is happy with the fact that my white cell counts are staying within the normal range. It doesn’t mean though that I can let my guard down. I’m being told that for the next month we’ll have to keep an eye on things to make sure the infection is gone.

In the meantime summer is in full swing within our family. Living at the lake for the summer has began and with the hot weather we’ve been having of late it’s been great to be out of the hot city in a space that’s easier to cool off. In a couple of weeks we will then head out West to visit my family out in Vancouver for a couple of weeks making a few stops with friends and family along the way. I’m excited because not only will it be great to see my family, it will be a change in scenery for me for a little while.

That’s it for now as I don’t really know what else to put in this post for today. See everyone soon!

About Ross

My name is Ross and I want to welcome you to my site. I'm married to an amazing woman who is my best friend, and my soul mate all rolled up into one! I am the father of two very special girls who we adopted from China & Ethiopia. Together we make up one very multicultural family! In 2006 my life was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with CRPS/RSD. It was the start of a journey I never could have expected, and one that I couldn't fight without God. CRPS is a chronic pain disease and it started in my left hand. I lost mobility of my hand and started to experience pain unlike I ever could have imagined. Not to long after my left ankle became affected. I spent the better half of about a year not knowing what was going on in my body and traveling from doctor to doctor to find a diagnosis. As time went by I started learning more about CRPS and all its symptoms that it brings with it! As I started to learn more about CRPS I felt the growing need to share the information I was learning with others and to raise more awareness. As well I want this to be a place where we can connect and support one another. So I would encourage you to contact me if you want.

I am glad things are going well for you Ross. With the exception of the computer! Isn’t it amazing how much we come to depend on these little things???

    Happy Weekend to you!

Have a nice trip to see your family! Bummer about your computer though. We had a nasty storm that took out our power for a few days last week. This week has been jammed with last minute details to our adoption paperwork. I just wrote a little post about it if you get a chance to pop over. Have a blessed week Ross!
