A Bit Slower Pace!
It’s the start of a new week and I’m hoping that my pain levels stay at a comfortable level throughout the week. A quick update from last week’s visit to the surgeon! I received the cortisone injection to try and alleviate some of the pain in my back, and the good news is that it’s working. Although there is still pain it is much more comfortable than before the injection. I’ve needed some good news for a change and it seems like I’m finally getting it. The funny thing is that in recent months I had been having shoulder pain as well. After this injection though it to has been reduced!
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts my energy level has been low as of late. Trying to get through the days has been a challenge and I’m doing all I can do to keep pushing forward. So you may find that some of my posts are a little shorter because it will help me in balancing out everything that I have going on in my world. So from time to time you might find that I shorten things up a bit.
I was hoping to get some more photos posted today, but I’m still busy doing some edits so I might either come back and insert then into this post or put them in the next one. It’s a busy time in our family at the moment and I feel like my tires are spinning as I try to get traction. Some days I feel like I can take on all kinds of things, and the next I feel like I’m down for the count. It’s a very up and down period at the moment which means I need to do some adjusting to my days. It’s nothing that I can’t get through, it just makes for some very long days at the moment.
The start of the school year is always a little rough and I need to find fourth gear, as it seems like I’m stuck in third on some days. It will come I just need to be patient. It’s just a matter of trying to find that missing gear! I feel optimistic that this will be a year with more big changes for the better.
