I find that relying on others is something I never thought I would have to do. Some days it is easier than others to rely on someone else to go to the store, do the shopping, etc. Other days it is a painful reminder.

oh my goodness you don’t even want to know how quickly I got angry when I read that someone had the gall to say that to you. It makes me sad that so many people take the extra time just to be mean and without any actually knowledge. Just because they see you walking doesn’t mean they know a lick about you. We have to actually know the facts before we can understand a situation fully. Sorry you had to experience that and for the record your rants are so mild (even if they weren’t I’d enjoy them!) and are also encouraging! I enjoy hearing about other people’s bumps along the road and how they work through them. Helps me feel a little more normal:). I will take this in though as another reminder that I too need to be slower to pass any judgement on a person when I really have no clue what is going on in their life. God would want us to know the heart of a person!

Some people can be so cruel. I am so sorry that happened to you, Ross.

On a brighter note, I am thrilled that spring has arrived for you. I DO know what you mean about the cabin fever “thing.” Spring took a very long time getting here also.

Oh yes ~ the ‘joy’ of complete strangers giving you their opinion and judging you. It’s good to vent and let out the frustration.

I’m so sorry you had to hear that!!! People can be so ignorant about disabilities, like everyone that uses the handicap parking have to be in a wheelchair??!! I can’t understand how people think they have the right to say something like that when they don’t have a clue. Maybe they could just ask you instead about your disability.
Great news that they are getting work done in your basement!

How nice that you and your wife were able to spend a quiet weekend together; sometimes ordering dinner in and enjoying a restful evening together is just what the mind and body need.

I’m so glad you are doing better and that you got some quality time with your wife!!! And of course, that spring is on its way . Here the early spring flowers are everywhere and the daffodils are starting to come up.
