Hi everybody! Well I made it through my final surgery for my double implant! The last few weeks has been pretty intense I’m not going to lie. The pain associated with this one has been really bad as well. At times it’s off the charts. I’ll be honest I’m not going to hold off on how I’m feeling at the moment because then I’m not telling you the reader how I really feel. At times I want to break down and cry! In spite of all that however the surgery went well and now all I need to do is rest and get better.

Through this process I’ve gotten to know so much more about the disease that we battle and the people that dedicate there time and energy into helping us get better. If you had asked me several months back if I’d be getting surgery from a neurosurgeon who is 82 yrs old I would have said no way. Now I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else! I am in the care of the right team of people. What a big difference when your being cared for by a team of people who care and understand what you are going through.

The ultimate goal of a surgery like this is to get CRPS to go into remission. With Gods help I really do believe that we are going to see this happen.  Another time though I’ll get into some of the specifics about this type of surgery, having now experienced it. I just wanted to put up a short post tonight, and thank all of you who have been sending prayers! For now I need to go and rest. I’ll talk to you all soon.
